ReplyDeletefor those confused btw stable electronic configuration and chemical"stability" in this sentence; they're not the same. in fact chemical stability is technically thermodynamic stability.
so the thing is electrons have same charge so they tend to repel each other. in order to minimize repulsive force btw them, they move as far apart as they can.
